Recently, Lintratek, leveraging its expertise and extensive experience in the field of mobile signal boosters, successfully undertook the signal coverage project for two underground power tunnel corridors in a city in Sichuan Province,China with a total length of 4.8 kilometers.

This project is of great significance as the tunnels are equipped with not only power monitoring facilities but also personal location tracking and air quality detection systems, which ensure the safety of workers. As a result, achieving seamless communication coverage within the tunnels was a critical requirement for the project.
Project Design
Upon receiving the project request, Lintratek’s technical team quickly responded and organized a dedicated project team. After a comprehensive analysis, and considering the presence of curved sections in both power tunnels, the team carefully designed a targeted coverage plan.
For the long, straight sections of the tunnels, the fiber optic repeaters ware chosen as the primary solution, paired with panel antennas to provide the longest signal coverage.

For the curved sections of the tunnels, high-power commercial mobile signal boosters were selected as the core solution, combined with log-periodic antennas to ensure the widest signal coverage angles. These two solutions reflect Lintratek’s customer-oriented approach and commitment to maximizing cost-effectiveness, providing the optimal solution for the client.
Project Construction
Once the plan was finalized, Lintratek’s installation team immediately went to the site. At the time, the project was in the middle of complex cross-construction, but Lintratek’s team cooperated seamlessly with the main construction contractors and carried out the work in an orderly fashion.
Despite the project being in its later stages, with poor lighting and communication obstacles, Lintratek’s employees persevered. With professional skills and unwavering determination, they completed the installation task on time and with high quality, demonstrating the team’s professionalism and dedication.

After installation, the testing results showed excellent signal coverage, with all target areas achieving strong and stable signal strength.
