The project site was a two-story office building with a total area of over 2,000 square meters. This office functions as the operational headquarters for a large power substation. Located in the suburban area, the building suffered from poor cellular reception due to a lack of nearby base stations, resulting in multiple signal dead zones indoors. The client specifically required complete 4G and 5G signal coverage across the entire office building.

2. Mobile Signal Coverage Plan

Upon receiving the project request, Lintratek’s technical team quickly began drafting a custom indoor mobile signal coverage solution. After analyzing the floor plan, the team found the building had numerous individual rooms and thick walls, which significantly interfered with signal transmission. Several areas within the building experienced severe signal blind spots, affecting daily communications and data access.

 

To ensure comprehensive coverage, multiple indoor antennas would be required. Moreover, in order to achieve stable 5G indoor signal performance, a higher-power enterprise mobile signal booster was necessary.

 

 

3. Why an Enterprise Mobile Signal Booster?

Given the building’s complex layout with thick internal walls, Lintratek designed a hybrid DAS (Distributed Antenna System) using a “central coverage + directional fill-in” strategy:

4.2 Directional Antennas for Blind Spots
Directional panel antennas were installed in partitioned zones, mounted on grey brackets along structural beams to boost signal strength in isolated areas.

4.3 Full Coverage Zones

All critical areas including open offices, control rooms, hallways, and even restrooms were carefully covered through synchronized antenna placements, achieving seamless mobile connectivity.
