Project Analysis
Now the floors of the community are getting higher and higher, and the elevator has become a necessary means of transportation.However, the elevator signal coverage is insufficient, the signal is weak, and even the signal is lost, which has buried security risks for people who take the elevator.Therefore, the management staff should improve and enhance the elevator signal coverage to ensure the safety of residents.
The project is located in a new building in Hunan, covering two 20-storey elevators and a basement. Due to the owner’s repeated feedback that the elevator has no signal, the management staff found the Lin Chuang team to do signal coverage.
Design scheme
We take into account that the elevator floor is 20 floors, and the use of “elevator signal repeater” is cost-effective and practical.
The elevator is divided into two sets of equipment, the main control unit and the car unit, in simple terms: the main control unit “leads” the signal from the outdoor to the elevator shaft, and the car unit transfers the elevator shaft signal, covering the entire elevator.

Installation Process
1. Find a place outdoors where the signal source (more than 3 grids) is good (such as the top floor), and install the receiving antenna of the main control unit here. The receiving antenna must face the signal tower.
2.Use a feeder to connect the outdoor receiving antenna to the RF_IN end of the amplifier, and the RF_OUT end of the amplifier to the indoor transmitting antenna. Check that the connection is stable.
3.Ensure that all components are connected and connectors are secured, and power on the amplifier. Then install the car unit in the same way, and the elevator signal is instantly full!
A receiving antenna is installed at the top of the elevator.
A transmitting antenna is installed inside the elevator.
The two are connected to the main machine with a feeder.
4.Signal detection After installation, the “CellularZ” software is used again to detect the elevator signal value, and the RSRP value is increased from -116dBm to -78dBm, the enhancement effect is so strong!
RSRP is the standard value for measuring whether the signal is smooth, generally speaking, it is very smooth above -80dBm, and there is basically no network below -110dBm.
