Long distance wireless signal transmission with Lintratek powerful repeater

With times development, many rural places were exploited for connecting cities and cities. The transportation network brings a lot of convenience for people. And there is an important thing that should be considered during the set-up of transportation network: the wireless signal transmission.
For example, a new residential area in the suburbs, a new stretch of highway, a long-distance tunnel through the mountain, a subway/train station in rural area… Without the telecommunication in these places, there is no success of development of new zone.

So what should we do to ensure a entire telecommunication system during the building of development zone, to make sure that there is no obstruction of wireless signal transmission in rural area?
Here we would like to introduce some new concepts: Long-distance wireless signal transmission and fiber optic repeater.
Long-distance wireless signal transmission: Transmit the wireless cell phone/radio signal from base tower to rural destination with device named repeater. About the device repeater suitable for long-distance wireless signal transmission, we Lintratek can supply you two options: normal high-gain powerful repeater and fiber optic repeater.

As the pictures show us, the biggest difference between these two systems is: Fiber optic repeater is departed by Host booster and Line booster. These two departments are connected by length customized Fiber Cable. Or we can say, host booster plus line booster is equivalent to one normal powerful repeater. With system of fiber optic repeater, we can realize the long-distance wireless signal transmission suitable for those rural areas.

On April 22th, 2022, we Lintratek received inquiry from Mr. Lew, saying that he had contracted a government project: highway tunnel building. Meanwhile he needed to solve the weak cell phone signal receipt during the process of the whole tunnel. That’s why he turned to Lintratek for help.

After we communicated with our client Mr. Lew, we learnt that the whole length of one tunnel was 2.8km. And our job was supplying full-plan network solution to cover two unidirectional tunnels (each one is about 2.8km). Because the long distance, we need to adapt fiber optic repeater instead of normal powerful repeater.

1.4 long range wireless signal transmission

To cover two 2.8km tunnels, we recommend to install two systems of fiber optic repeater on each side (east and west). Each host booster needs to be connected with 2 pieces of line boosters, therefore, here we need to use 2-way splitter to realize it. And each line booster needs to be connected with 2 pieces of transmit antenna, also 2-way splitter is necessary here. As we know each transmit antenna can cover a range with 500-800m, therefore the full plan as the pic shows is reasonable.
